RAW Juicing On The Go

These days finding time to concoct or to make my own raw smoothies or juices have honestly become a chore. I would rather take the time and make my baby's food and be done with it. :) So, I am ever grateful and thankful to Rawlicious Green Smoothies for having come to light!
I just found out that they are finally delivering "already-made" raw green juices all the way to Alabang and right at my very doorstep! You are a true blessing indeed for giving us health nuts an even easier access to living a healthier lifestyle. There is no excuse anymore. :)
On another note, not only do I care for myself, but being an eco-loving mom as well, I care just as much for the world we live in and always try to do my part. I make it a point to give back the used plastic bottles on their next delivery because they in turn donate it to the right recycling facility. So there you have it! "Fitting two needs with one deed!"

Here's to a greener mind, body and soul!
What simple yet inspiring "green deeds" have you done! Do share it with me!
Infinite Blessings Beautiful Soul!

My Journey Into Raw Foods

I still believe and follow an Ayurvedic diet. And because of this, I have become more and more aware now of how intelligent my body really is. All I need to do is just learn to listen to it instead of telling it what to do. My body tells me that moderation is key to everything, most especially in what we eat. I am more conscious now of what goes in and out of my body. And I believe if I balance both Ayurvedic and Raw foods, (that being focused more on a plant-based diet), not only will I be saving myself, I will just as well contribute to saving the world..

Here are my baby steps into taking that raw food action into my system:

A beginners journey: Making my own raw green smoothies everyday and upping the doses gradually.

Pechay and Saba Smoothie

..Since dairy is slowly becoming the enemy now, I just realized that I get even better nutrients without the animal fat from nuts and seeds. So I learned that making my own homemade almond milk tastes so much better and healthier! It's a little tedious, but its worth it!

Almond Nut Milk

..And there are so many recipes out there that teach you how to make use of the left over almond pulp! Be sure not to throw it away! Here are some of my experiments:

Raw Vegan Chocolate Cake

Almond-Coconut Macaroons

Chia Seeds! (I love snacking on this with almond milk and saba like a cereal or making it into a smoothie with fruit). It's really worth it to stock up on these wonderful seeds. You'll be amazed of the healthy benefits this wonderful seed has to offer! :)

Here's to the start of making half of my diet raw vegan! :)

The Healer Within

OM NAMAH SIVAYAH!!
The Inner Dance Yoga retreat last weekend in the beautiful island of Puerto Princessa in Palawan was my very first attempt to touch base with the healer in me. It is through my inner energy shared with the support of an experienced healer and others around, raw foods, yoga, meditation, and also through the magical vibrations and frequency of sound are what makes this all possible.

I BOW TO CHANGE. I start with myself by eating a more plant-based diet and even going more raw. Not only will it make me feel well and healthy from the inside out, but will help a great deal in preserving the environment. And by practicing a more sustainable and eco-lifestyle will just as greatly help heal mama Earth. They are in baby steps but with every effort I make, I create a rippling effect. This act that I do is energy sent out and, I believe is felt by another person somewhere I know not of, and in a place I know not where of..

The way of the healer:

Bahay Kalipay-- The simplest and most sustainable retreat house I've ever been in.

Sinag Room- My humble space of slumber and meditation.

Our Shala-- A place of learning, yoga, bonding and healing sessions.

Raw foods are live foods-- Our Breakfast..

..Lunch..

..Dinner..

..Dessert..

Yoga and Meditation with my beautiful group.

Dyotay-- Our sound healer

Pi Villaraza and Sinag his ray of light-- Our Inner Healer

Om Namah Sivayah! I Embrace Transformation.. This is not easy, and even downright scary. But maybe someday that courage will find me..
